Derrick Rose had just four points for the Bulls, but wasn't needed as Chicago easily defeated the Nets in New Jersey.
The reigning NBA MVP Rose played just 11 minutes on the night after complaining of back spasms.
However Carlos Boozer and Luol Deng combined for 43 points and C.J. Watson had 14 points and 11 assists off the bench as Chicago moved to an Eastern Conference best record of 21-6 three games ahead of the Indiana Pacers in the Central division.
Deron Williams was 8-of-16 for 25 points in defeat for the Nets who slumped to 8-18 on the season.
The Bulls are 5001.00 to win the Eastern Conference, with the Pacers 5001.00 and the Miami Heat 1.22.
Linas Kleiza came off the bench to score 30 points for the Toronto Raptors in a 111-108 overtime loss to the Wizards at the Verizon Center in Washington DC.
The former Missouri Tiger was 11-of-16 including 4-of-8 from 3-point range, but couldn't overcome John Wall's game-high 31 points for the hosts.
