Carragher keen for Tottenham revenge

Liverpool's Jamie Carragher says he will be looking for revenge against Tottenham on Monday after their embarrassing 4-0 defeat to Spurs earlier in the season.
Jamie Carragher is likely to start on the bench against Spurs. The Reds endured a nightmare day in north London back in September when they were crushed by Harry Redknapp's men after having Charlie Adam and Martin Skrtel sent off.
Liverpool now welcome Tottenham to Anfield on Monday looking to avenge their worst defeat since 2003, and in the process close the gap on fourth-placed Chelsea.
A win for Liverpool will lift them back above Arsenal into sixth, two points behind the Blues following their 3-3 draw with Manchester United on Sunday.
Having made a slow start to the season Liverpool look to be building some momentum after their cup victories over Manchester City and Manchester United respectively.
The Reds have a good record against Tottenham at Anfield, last May's success the first time Spurs had won on Merseyside in nearly 20 years.
However, Spurs are in great form and are in desperate need of the points to keep their hopes of a title push alive.
Carragher believes Tottenham are the most impressive team in the Premier League this season but says Liverpool are desperate to get on over on Redknapp's men in a bid to banish memories of last September.
"I know they aren't top but they're great to watch. They play great football, very fast paced and they certainly showed that against us at White Hart Lane," said Carragher.
"That was our biggest defeat of the season and something we want to rectify.
"We realise we're playing against one of the best teams in the league and it's going to be very difficult."
