Glamorgan are interested in securing the services of Mitchell Johnson.Welsh county side Glamorgan have made an enquiry about acquiring the services of Australian fast bowler Mitchell Johnson for their T20 tournament of 2012.
It has been confirmed by the club's Australian coach Matthew Mott that Johnson has been approached by Glamorgan officials in order to make him their second overseas player for next season.
Glamorgan are 67.00 to win the 2012 Division 2 County Championship, while Hampshire are 6.00 and Yorkshire 3.00.

One of Glamorgan's two overseas players' spots is currently occupied by Johnson's former Australian teammate Marcus North, who is reportedly trying to convince the left-arm paceman to join him in Cardiff.
Johnson is currently nursing a foot injury that he had picked up in South Africa late last year. He underwent surgery to repair the damage and is now scheduled to make his comeback in April.
"I'm interested. I'm just waiting for a call from them," the 47-test veteran said recently.
His first choice is to be snapped up by any of the cash-rich IPL clubs in this weekend's auction but if that doesn't happen for him, then he is prepared to ply his trade in Europe with Glamorgan.
Glamorgan will kick-off their 2012 campaign on 14 June with a match against Northamptonshire. They will be looking to break their run of not making it to the knock-out phase of the competition this year and if Johnson gets on board, their target will become much easier.
After spending month out of the game, it will be better for Johnson to start off easy by playing the shortest version of the game and the player himself has the same plan.
In an interview with Fox Sports, he said: "I wouldn't say T20 is my favourite form of the game but it's definitely a good way for me to come back."
